2006 MELGES 32 FALL CHAMPIONSHIP | WFORC
OCTOBER 13-15. Just when you thought the year was through, the Melges 32 Fall Championship will stir the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico this coming October. Taking place in conjunction with WFORC (West Florida Ocean Racing Circuit), this great racer will take the stage as all eyes surely will be watching, anticipating an impressive demonstration of power and speed — and it's all about the speed. Local favorite and fleet contact Doug Kessler and his Liberty crew will be on hand to showoff this great boat. Kessler was last spotted at the St. Petersburg NOOD where it was his first time in the boat placing third overall in the class. "This boat is absolutely incredible. Make the jump to this boat, it is incredible. Because of how this class is structured everyone is dead even. It's extremely competitive" said Kessler.

The event is set to be a lot of fun. With activities starting as early as October 12th (skippers meeting), actual racing will commence on Friday and run until Sunday. Evening socials such as dinner and dancing is planned for both Friday and Saturday night. The WFORC Organization has sent out notifications of the event so, keep an eye out for them.
