CREATING A STIR. The 2006 St. Petersburg NOOD Regatta in St. Petersburg, Florida was yet another great success for the Melges 32. Despite the lack of racing due to very light air, sailors, owners, enthusiasts made certain that they gave the M32 a glance at the dock. In a Fleet six boats strong, everyone went fast and looked good at the same time!

Its no surprise that the Melges 32 is the absolute hottest racer! The amount of excitement generated by this supersonic sportboat is phenomenal as it triumphs onward to Miami Race Week, March 9-12.
CONGRATULATIONS TO MIKE CARROLL
AND MARTY KULLMAN AS NEW WAVE
WINS THE 2006 ST. PETE'S NOOD!

MIKE CARROLL & MARTY KULLMAN are 2-0 for 2006 in the Melges 32! Not only did they offer a command performance in Key West, they delivered an encore in St. Petersburg at the NOOD Regatta when they topped the likes of Rick Orchard, Jeff Ecklund and Doug Kessler. "Going right off the start, if you are not full-on, full-speed — there's a problem. That's how close this racing is. That's what's fun," said Kullman. Carroll continued, "Marvelous boat, incredible upwind speed. Honestly, I've never sailed faster."

Everyone has only but positive feedback on the M32. Here are what some others had to say:

FRANK McCARTHY, CITY WIFI:
The Melges 32 was well behaved and easy to find the groove. In fact, it was so easy we were right up to speed with the other boats right out of the box. With only an hour and a half of practice we came off the blocks equal to the boats that have been sailing for much longer. It is certainly the logical progression for Melges 24 sailors who want a bigger experience. In many ways I found it easier to sail than the Melges 24, which says a lot because the M24 was my benchmark for what an easy to sail boat should be.

DOUG KESSLER, LIBERTY: This boat is absolutely incredible. Make the jump to this boat, it is incredible. Because of how this Class is structured everyone is dead even. Everybody was within 100 yards of each other today, it's extremely competitive.

So there you have it, straight from the owners and crew! This boat is a real powerhouse. For more information, contact ANDY BURDICK at Melges Performance Sailboats, or visit MELGES.COM.
