The Melges 32 fleet is gaining momentum and the regatta schedule
is beginning to fill-in as more and more of these very exciting
racing machines head out to regattas worldwide. As it continues
to set the standard in ultra high performance racing, the M32
has proven to be an affordable boat with super speed and great
fun.
MIDWINTER CHAMPIONSHIP LINE-UP.
The popularity of the Melges 32 is rapidly increasing, and as
a direct result the very first Midwinter Championship is about
to kick-off. This championship consists of three regattas held
during the winter months — Key West Race Week in January,
St. Petersburg NOOD in February and the finale in March at ACURA
Miami Race Week! A fantastic triple-header for this exciting sportboat!

KEY WEST RACE WEEK
JANUARY
16-20. Key West Race Week kicks off the racing
season in Key West, Florida. Year-after-year this regatta
never ceases to be the absolute pinnacle in one design competition.
In 2005, the Melges 32 debuted and for 2006, the speed will
be eight-fold as the fleet takes shape as Jeff Ecklund, Brian
Porter, Tim Kimpton, Rick Orchard, John Cooper, Jonathan Money,
Mick Sheins and Beck Swanson take the course by storm! Despite

ST. PETERSBURG NOOD
FEBRUARY
17-19. This regatta is always a crowd pleaser
— the famous St. Petes NOOD is hosted by the very
prestigious St. Petersburg Yacht Club in St. Petersburg,
Florida. It's fleet building time and this venue will

MARCH 9-12

Miami Race Week in Miami, Florida. Premiere Racing organizes
this outstanding event and if you can take the heat and
the best competition, BE THERE!
