FALL FAST WITH THE MELGES 17! The Melges 17 National Championship was one of the best events ever and there is more to come. From the 2007 Fall Championship in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin to the Halloween Regatta down south in Augusta, Georgia during mid-October — there is truly an event for everyone!

LABANAUSKAS SCORES BIG AT CRYSTAL LAKE, 2007 MELGES 17 NATIONAL AND RANKING CHAMPION!
CONGRATULATIONS are in full order for Iggy Labanauskas as he is the 2007 Melges 17 National Champion! The event was a lot of fun as racers enjoyed two days and seven intense races, great parties and glorious weather at the Crystal Lake Yacht Club in Frankfort, Michigan! From the very beginning Labanauskas put his foot down, called the shifts and took the lead, never looking back. In addition to the championship, he also managed to capture the ranking title too. "I was really geared up for the Larry Brand Trophy," commented Labanauskas. "I came here thinking that if I win the Nationals great, but I really wanted to win the Larry Brand Trophy."

2007 MELGES 17 FALL CHAMPIONSHIP,
LAKE GENEVA, WISCONSIN
SEPTEMBER 22-23. The 2007 Fall Championship taking place at the Lake Geneva Yacht Club will be sensational as twenty racers are expected to participate. In addition to the eight boat strong Lake Geneva fleet others are traveling from all over Wisconsin and Michigan. With a sunny forecast and warm temperatures the conditions will be perfect.
The price of the regatta includes appetizers at the Friday reception party,
continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, Saturday lunch on the water, Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch at the club.
A terrific event, just right for those looking to leave their boats in Zenda for the winter!

2007 HALLOWEEN REGATTA — AUGUSTA, GA
OCTOBER 13-14. There's one of the last events on the schedule for the Melges 17 in 2007 — the legendary Halloween Regatta hosted by the Augusta Sailing Club in Augusta, Georgia. ASC puts on a great party, be there! Traditionally this is a big MC Scow event and this year — the Melges 17s have been invited to show off their speed and agility on beautiful Lake Strom Thurmond.
