2007 MELGES 17 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
AUGUST 25-26. The 2007 Melges 17 National Championship takes place at beautiful Crystal Lake Yacht Club in Frankfort, Michigan during late August sponsored by MELGES PERFORMANCE SAILBOATS, NORTH SAILS ZENDA, QUANTUM SAILS, HARKEN, LATIS YACHTING SOLUTIONS and Cass Communications. Don't miss out on Nationals as this will be a lot of fun! Yes, the racing is going to be hot but don't forget about the great cocktail parties, evening socials, the Saturday night dinner as well as a guaranteed jammin' party and awards ceremony! The winner of the 2007 Larry Brand Trophy series will also be announced!

2007 I.L.Y.A . MELGES 17 CHAMPIONSHIP
CONGRATULATIONS. To no one's surprise Andy Labanauskas blasted the Melges 17 I.L.Y.A. Championship with speed and unprecedented moves as he dominated the field of highly charged Melges17s. With across-the-board bullets, Labanauskas hammered to competition — what a way to celebrate the very first I.L.Y.A Melges 17 Championship! His win also resulted in being awarded the gorgeous Lexus Pursuit of Perfection Trophy!
Hosted by the legendary PEWAUKEE YACHT CLUB, this event was a lot of fun. From the great racing, friends, family, food, race committee to the awesome parties, this event will be remembered for a long-time, special thanks to event organizers Tami Sawyer and Dave Decker and event sponsors MELGES PERFORMANCE SAILBOATS and NORTH SAILS ZENDA.

ROB TERRY WINS 2007 BLUE WATER REGATTA
CONGRATULATIONS. Class newcomer Rob Terry claimed victory early in the season at the 2007 Blue Water Regatta at Crystal Lake Yacht Club. The Melges 17 Fleet has been gearing up all summer season long for the major competition that awaits them at Nationals.
