APRIL 14-15. Charleston is ready to roll out the hospitality carpet for the Melges 17 fleet for the 2006 Easter Regatta! This fantastic southern city always has an incredible effect on sailors. It inspires them to sail their best in some of the most challenging conditions. A number of different classes of Scows participate and this year, the Melges 17 will be seen racing alongside the dynamic Melges MC Scow and the super-fast E-Scow!

FLEET NO. 6 The crowd in Colorado are into cool sports - Skiing and Scow Racing. Scows have been in the Grand Lake area since the mid 1900's. Their E Scow fleet has been very strong for many years. This last summer they decided to make a "fleet purchase" of new Melges 17's slated to arrive this spring. This acquisition will make for as many as ten M17s in the area this summer! This will make for quite of a start!

Their season series will get revved up in late June. Over the 4th of July Melges Representative Sam Rogers will head west to tune and talk speed with the entire Grand Lake sailing community. Grand Lake has it goin' on!
